Gov
Nyesom Wike of Rivers said on Monday that his administration had completed 42
roads in three months.
Wike
made this known in Port Harcourt while conducting Journalists round some of the
completed roads.
He
said that 30 other roads were nearing completion and that his administration
was determined to touch lives positively.
Wike,
who noted that the previous administration abandoned governance, promised to
lead a prosperous Rivers.
He
explained that the essence of governance was to put viable infrastructure in
place aimed at strengthening the economy.
The
governor who led journalists to Abuloma/Woji road under construction, said when
completed, the road would reduce traffic along Aba road.
Wike
promised to put durable infrastructure in place that would put the state back
on the part of progress.
Some
of the roads visited were Ahoada Street, Creek road, Borokiri road and Nkpogu
road bridge, among others.
